Where did my disk space go?

Hi, everybody!  I hope that tonight's meeting was a success.  Sorry I
couldn't make it.

Anywho...

I just installed a 250GB drive in one of my machines.  I made a "/chas"
partition of 220GB.

I have used only 17G of space on /chas, but it tells me that I'm down to
191GB.  Details of a "df -h" command are:

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdb2             9.7G  2.9G  6.3G  32% /
/dev/hdb1              99M  7.5M   87M   8% /boot
/dev/hdb5             220G   17G  191G   9% /chas
none                  122M     0  122M   0% /dev/shm

I'm wondering where my other 13GB are.  I seem to remember this sort of
thing being discussed at one of our monthly meetings, but can't remember
the "why" or the "how to change it."  8-)

Thoughts?
