I regularly update the this local directory:

/pub/updates/Development/i386/Fedora/RPMS

from:

ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/i386/Fedora/RPMS

I'd like to use apt/synaptic to resolve the dependencies there. 'man
sources.list' isn't much help. Can anyone suggest how to craft a "rpm
..." line with these entries for my /etc/apt/sources.list?
