In the past, I've found dual-channel ISDN dialup for around $40 to
$50/month. The line itself will cost around $40/month.
And so IDSL is 10% faster... It's not worth the additional cost and
lack of flexibility.

Sure, but that can happen dynamically.
Still, if it were me, I'd do wireless or satellite.
