MS did not discontinue support for W98 - the only dropped W98 retail (first 
edition). W98SE is still supported, last I checked.

The MS support until 2006 is PAID, .. not free.

In any case, we have a lot of customers that want W98, and the OEM channel 
still has plenty of copies to sell.
