Hey! I'm a Slackhead...and a RH refugee. Put Slack 9 on my new box after
it was built and it kind of grew on me. It's rough at the margins, but, on
the whole, it's a pretty solid distro. FWIW, I've learned more about Linux
in the past six months with Slack than I did running RH for two years. Is
that a good thing? Hard to say, but it works for me.

BTW, just for kicks, tried a Gentoo install (from a stage 1 tarball :)) a
couple weeks back.  Now, that's living on the edge...
