Well, not quite. It's only the kernel that SCO is accusing uses Sys-V
code illegally. Everything which complements the Linux kernel in the
operating system, including all the GNU software and external projects
is still protected and not involved at all.

And besides, even if something outrageous happened, which is almost
guaranteed not to occur, there are other kernels which can easily fill
the void. Most notably, GNU/Hurd and FreeBSD (among others.)

Debian, as an operating system in whole, even has ports to other kernels
like GNU/Hurd, FreeBSD and NetBSD. But saying that Linux is threatened
is so farfetched, it's useless to point this out. ;)
