There are 2.5.75 (the last 2.5.x kernel) rpms here:

Actually, I never exactly tried it.  I tried to try it, but I couldn't
figure out how to make LVM work.

Maybe I'll get lucky and those rpms will have all of the appropriate
things enabled/patched/whatever.
