Okay, so the software sees the modem now. But the pppd conf-file-writing
script that comes with Coyote is fudged, out of the box. So now I'm reading
forums to see how to correct the script so the conf files will be correct so
the dial-on-demand will work properly. :( This software was supposed to make
a home router EASY... <sigh>
