Face it.  At the end of the day Nvidia is nothing more than a bunch of 
ex-SGI employees still trying to hang on to the ability to make a buck 
from keeping the hardware closed.  As we're seeing now, SGI is embracing 
the open way and trying to survive.  I'd like to think Nvidia may find 
themselves in this position in the future.
