On Charter: I can say with confidence that their financial predicament can be 
squarely laid to rest at the management Paul Allen installed using "the 
Microsoft Way" of management - embrace, extend, extinguish. Although
folks are hoping Jerry and the original owners might buy it back, I don't
think that's in Jerry's plans. He's moved on, and now Charter is 
"damaged goods" from his perspective. None of the attributes he and
his management worked to imbue in the company remain with Vulcan in charge.
