Re: Video Question

Hercules monochrome 8 bit isa is the only way to go ;)

Seriously, the ati upper 8000 and 9000 series I've been told are very
good cards as well as having decent drivers, steve and I have talked on
a couple occasions about them and I've concluded that when I finally get
a new card that's where I'm going, just my two cents *shameless plug*
you really should buy it from steve as well */shameless plug*

Well, let's just say, 'if your VCR is still blinking 12:00, you don't
want Linux'.

Subject: Video Question

Recently there were a fair amount of postings about what's wrong with
nVidia based graphics cards. My question is what is a good graphics card
to buy that's well supported with open source drivers for Linux?

Thanks to all. I learn a lot by reading here and it's quite entertaining
as well!
