Re: Lycoris?
I installed Lycoris (aka Redmond Linux) on a P-100 with 80MB RAM and
3GIG HD. It ran, but I went back to Mandrake 7.x because it ate the CPU.
Even moving the mouse was slow. Granted, I should have suspected that
would happen and gone sans GUI, but I didn't. Anyway, I wasn't all that
impressed with what I saw in the three hourse I had it running. It DID,
however, swallow my sound card properly - no other dist has....
My two cents,

Subject: Lycoris?
I see a version of Linux called "Lycoris" being discussed on Slashdot
today.
Does anyone know anything about it? Apparently, you can't download it
for free,
like RedHat. But, it's only $29.95.
Thanks,
Charlie
