Re: web login form

Let's say the information is on static pages manually updated by hand
(for some asinine reason) by me. Currently I'm not running php because
I remember hearing something about security problems with it (and since
I didn't use it I just disabled it). From what I've hear php is a knock
off language to learn I'll look into it thanks.

php, assuming your running it

how are you storing that information? is it in a mysql database? php
makes
accessing the db info rather easy

If one were going to make a web login form for clients to log in and see
the progress of their orders what would be the best way to go about
this? I was thinking about using htaccess through apache but that
wouldn't be very user friendly. The way I would like to do it is
through a web form that could use their username to redirect them to the
appropriate page. any links or suggestions would help tremendously,
thanks.
