Redhat Upgrades

Has anyone ever done an upgrade from RedHat 7.2 to 7.3?  I have
typically just done a fresh install preserving /home and /opt, but I
have a case where I want to do an upgrade to preserve an existing
configuration.  I tried an upgrade once back in the 5.x/6.x days and it
didn't go too well as I remember.  Are there any issues, caveats,
problems that anybody has come across?  Any input would be appreciated?
