invisible proxy

anyone know of a good invisible proxy server that works well out of the box?
i know i could configure my own but i want something easy to administer that
i dont have to learn ip[chains/tables] extensively to be able to use

also is there a good tutorial on ip[chains/tables] (preferably whichever one
is with the 2.4 kernel) that anyone knows of?  the ones ive found off of
linux docs werent exactly very informative if you have never dealt with them
before.
