The only thing I'm having a problem with is SDL_net and that isn't a big 
problem in itself. Read my output:

[kliren:~/sources/AlephOne-0.12.0] ./configure | grep -i SDL 
checking for sdl-config... (cached) /usr/bin/sdl-config
checking for SDL - version >= 1.1.7... yes
checking for SDL_image.h... (cached) yes
checking for IMG_Load in -lSDL_image... (cached) yes
checking for SDL_net.h... (cached) no

This is all under RH7.2, btw.
