Ok, I've lurked long enough........ Request for
advice........ I want to buy a DVD ROM for my dual boot win/lin box. I
don't expect the DVD rom to work in Linux for DVD but I would like one that will
still work as a CDROM in Linux. Any suggestions as to brand? Circuit City has a
Delta 12x that is 19.99 after rebate. HI-VAL is pretty cheep (59.00) and I
believe it is made by Pioneer. Would any of thse work as a CDROM in
Linux????
