I like Perl, but, I've been meaning to try PHP.  

By the way, what exactly do you mean by HTTP scripting language?  Do you
mean for backend stuff like  CGI scripts, scripts that dynamically generate
html from a database, or scripts that run in the browser (like Javascript)?
