Unless this is a laptop (or you have some sort of pcmcia card type thing
installed) you can yank out hte pcmcia line.
I'm guessing you're getting that -1 because it is a pci card. I dunno at
this point.
Have you consulted the sound how-to at linuxdoc.org for details on what
driver you should be using?
