SILUG: Happy Birthday SILUG! Second monthly Metro East meeting - Saturday,9/19/2015

Tomorrow marks 21 years since I sent an announcement to
comp.os.linux.announce (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet for
those of you too young to know what that is) about the first meeting of
a new Linux Users Group.  (That announcement can be seen at
http://www.silug.org/about/ for any of you crazy enough to be
interested.)  There were 6 people (including me and the two people
working at the computer store we used for a location) at that meeting,
but I considered that a success, and the Southern Illinois Linux Users
Group (because I suck at naming things) was born.

To celebrate the group being old enough to drink, the second monthly
Metro East SILUG meeting for this month will be next Saturday, September
19, 2015 at 4PM at Global Brew in O'Fallon, on the opposite side of I-64
and Green Mount from our usual meeting location.
