im not sure i would be the best person for that, as i am not the most
proficient user by far. i know how to get around in a command line and find
config files. ;}

i suppose i could learn though

really my main reasons for liking bsd is its a more mature codebase, and
when things in the linux kernel get fixed to be more efficent or whatnot,
alot of the time its remarked that this is the bsd way or very similar to
it. also the license issue (i dont agree with RMS as to what "free
software" really is. and there the deal where of all the really *nix
knowledgeable ppl i know online, most of them are for bsd over linux. (a
few prefer solarus(sp?) on sparc and irix over anything else)

unfortunately i dont have a machine i can dedicate to just freebsd to play
with at the moment (might change in a few weeks). this box im on now is set
up to triple boot beos, nt2k, and 98se. it spends almost all its time in
2k. (i like office and ie is by far the best browser currently). my other
working box is a win98 dial out box (*nix doesnt recognize the modem, its a
pci but its not a winmodem) that provides internet access for me and my
roommates (also runs as the print server for a windows only okidata printer
i bought cheap, next time i buy a laser it will be lexmark or hp)

i would be interested in giving such a presentation, but as i said im not
the most proficient user and i wouldnt be knowledgeable enough to really
properly answer any technical questions.  give me time ;}
