Re: Everybody's playing Quake 2 but me




and both play fine on my k6 166 with diamond monster 2 3d ... but still the
genre of quake2 is more like that of duke nukem 3d ... i have an extreme
dislike for that genre in games ..... and as such i still prefer quake 1 to
quake 2.  quake 3 isnt even going to make it to my wish list (i must be the
only one who likes the idea of a first person shooter that isnt all about
death matches)... but anyway quake 2 shoudl have been given a different
name.

i do admit that q1's setting is just a bit far fetched but it is only a game
and it isnt more ridiculous than the setting of q2 or duke3d or unreal
.......

i suppose to each his own though
