Today's fresh glop of gimp on a stick can be found at:

It is HIGHLY recommended that you upgrade to GTK 0.99.10, found at:

ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gtk/v0.99/

Major changes:

* tools have got a major rework to solve many of the weird problems with
  persistent state before
* autoconf changes to solve many of the build problems
