Re: RAM question




A good way to check compatibility is by the chipset the motherboard
utilizes. Since it is a Pentium 133, it is most likely utilizing an Intel
430FX Chipset which does support EDO, therefore it would allow for mixing
and matching FPM and EDO Ram. Intel Neptune and Mercury chipsets don't have
support for EDO so it would be questionable whether those two chipsets
would have problems with it.

If by chance the motherboard uses a non-intel chipset, then pull out some
dice and roll for a seven.
