Right.  4 Real CPUs on 2 physical chips.

Not terribly impressive...  Only 2GB, 2 x 512MB (dual-channel DDR400)
per physical chip, since each physical chip has a memory controller
that is shared (over the HyperTransport bus) between the two cores. 
The board (a Tyan Thunder K8WE) will take 8 DIMMs (4+4), meaning a
maximum of 16GB with 2GB DIMMs (which I'm pretty sure will work on
this board).

Did I mention that this is a workstation board?  :-)
