The comments on that are actually rather interesting...  I knew there
was a lot of work going on in this area, but I didn't realize just how
much...

I've been working on figuring out all the pieces a lot lately.  I'm
hoping to start working out some easy ways to set them all up ASAP.
I'm sure you'll all hear about that when I get around to it...  :-)

I'm interested in it too, mostly to see if it eliminates the (few)
shortcomings of OpenLDAP.
