Repair question

Google confuses (what else is new?)...

I find myself in need of IBM laptop repairs. Specifically, the control
circuitry for the LCD display, which works for a max of about 1/2 second
before going dark. The external video works fine, but that sorta defeats
the purpose of a portable, doesn't it?

Can anyone recommend a trustworthy repair outlet for an IBM A22p
ThinkPad that's (just) out of warranty?
