	Ditto.  Frankly, I've always felt this as being one of the major
deal killers for most medium to large environments.  NT Domain/AD/NDS
aren't great, but when you have 50+ machines to deal with, they are better
than nothing.  As the network becomes ubiquitous (buzzword!), the ability
to manage via the network becomes critical.

	Anecdotally, we have a 44 machine cluster, and I use OSCAR
(oscar.openclustergroup.org) to manage the nodes.  It's geared towards
compute clusters, but can be tweaked to do a nice job on a more generic
central management setup.  If we go to Linux on the desktop (as opposed to
Mac or Sunray), I'll probably use OSCAR.
