Interesting.

FWIW, the Sprint PCS internet service is 128Kbps in theory, which
tends to mean 7KBps or so.  The latency is a little sucky, but it is
no worse than over a modem (which I am *so* not used to anymore).

The really nice part is that it is essentially free though.  As long
as you have an appropriate phone and are paying for PCS Vision
service, usage doesn't even show up on your plan.
