The drivers work fine for me except..........
They must be reinstalled with every kernel upgrade. PITA

Being rather liberal minded, I appreciated the cost savings versus
performance of my nVidia card and don't mind the closed source drivers.
I understand those who don't think as I do but the card was extremely
cheap and absolutely rocks performance wise. But then again I'm a GUI
kind of guy so good graphics are essential. I guess that if I was just a
CLI kind of guy I'd probably use whatever. But although I despise
gaming, which I must assume all the anti-GUI types do as well, I like a
nice desktop and the cool XMMS plug-ins. I like Nate's ATI card but it
was more than 3X the cost of mine. Both are dual head and 64MD. I'll put
up with closed source drivers.

The packeaged NV dtiver that came with X 4.0.X worked well, right outta
the box. Isn't that OS?
