We have an immediate opportunity/requirement for two Java developers
to support a three (3) month project starting immediately. This is an
Advantage opportunity.

Our client is building a web app. that interfaces with relational
databases. The databases include MS SQL Server and DB2. Knowledge of
IBM database specifics is desirable, but not required.

They have already written Java domain classes that map to database
tables. There is a 1 to 1 mapping between domain classes and database
tables.

The position requires knowledge of basic JDBC since they may need to
modify some of these existing classes. No entity or session EJBs
will be used.

In this role the developers will write servlets and classes to
generate HTML. Each servlet will serve up a family of related web
pages. Each class that generates HTML may generate multiple, similar
pages. These classes will use a Java library that outputs HTML,
similar to the Apache ECS library approach. No JSP will be used.

The HTML will reference CSS classes defined in CSS stylesheets that
have already been created. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and basic
CSS is required. Form validation code will be written in Java and
JavaScript.

Each developer needs to be able to work in all the areas identified
above. They will not be assigned to different roles.

There are five layers in their architecture. The client will train
new developers in these layers when they start.

The most important requirements for this position are: knowledge of
basic Java, servlets, JDBC, HTML and JavaScript.

Call 590-0204 or email hr@ociweb.com for immediate consideration.
