It's Mascoutah! :) He's definately not living there, for the, how to
put it, intellectual stimulation. :) (I graduated from MCHS, so I can
make that statement). Crap. Now I just reminded myself that as of this
time 10 years ago I was coasting toward graduation (Senioritis starting
sometime my Junior year). Yeah. 10 year reunion next summer. Puke.

He might get the neighbor, but then again, maybe not. I don't really know
the new neighbors that moved into the place. The magic 8 ball says signs
point to no from passing comments.

Well, that presumes he wants full time connectivity (or my mom or
step-mom for that matter). This is a guy that gets on the internet with a
Mac LC575 that I gave him last year for Christmas (an upgrade from the
LCIII) and likes it. For him, Accessus works... good enough. For my Mom
(who lives in Swansea) it was a combination of the downtime(s) and the
volume of spam that made her switch. Nevermind the fact that she had a
pleasant phone call when she setup her account with APCI.

But I digress. Dad happily surfs along and occasionally word processes on
his Mac, my Step-Mom on her PC, and my Mom on her PC.

Believe me, my dad would get on the Internet with an Apple II if he could
(nevermind the amount of lynx and pine I did with a IIgs and a 2400 baud
modem during my college years).

Incidentally, it looks like I may have a project for this weekend:

http://freshmeat.net/releases/103674/

Now take a 4 port serial card, a pile of Apple IIe's, the Commodore 64
webserver written in Basic and Super Serial Card for the IIe and you've
got the makings of an electrical hazard at Casa de RIMBoy.

Sean...
