Accessus has taken a dump all over itself in the last year or two. My Mom
was so furious she forced a refund from them.

Let's put it this way.  When your customer's cant call in because of an
"upgrade", are you still an ISP?

I'd look around for POP's for various ISP's and go from there.  Someone
has to be port wholesaleing down there (which would explain accessus's
POP) and may be able to provide better customer service.

I'd do a search on Carbondale ISP in google and see what returns.

Agreed.  My mom switched over to APCI and has been happy, thought I'm not
sure what APCI's POP's are like.  (My mom's wife had been with APCI until
she got her cable modem... back when APCI allowed you to check your email
with pine).  

Note:  POP =  Point of Presence.  Someone got the bright idea to make
their extra portmasters available for dialin for a small charge.  Thus the
industry of Port Wholesaleing began and thus the reason why many regional
ISP's can have a national presence.
