Re: Red Hat 8 Question Please

In my experience, many problems with the flakiness of up2date can be solved by clearining out the /var/spool/up2date directory. That's where it downloads information about what patches are availiable as well as the pathes themselves.

Subject: Red Hat 8 Question Please

I now have the Mizilla thing fixed.

I've gone to the Red Hat site and deleted the two profiles for this
computer. When I click on the up2dates available (Little red button), a
screen comes up with the up dates available. This screen comes up
without going to the Red Hat site. If I try to start "Launch up2date",
thats when it goes to Red Hat and I get the error message.

I'm thinking something isn't in sink with the up date list that is on my
computer and the accounts on the Red Hat data base. How do I get rid of
the up2date list on my computer and start all over with the Red Hat
site? Possibly if I can get rid of this list, I can start all over and
be in sink with the Red Hat data base.

Does that make sense?
