I would suggest leaving everything but the real Red Hat repository on
ftp.silug.org commented out unless you want to install something from
one of those other sites.

I know freshrpms is bad about including newer versions of stuff in
Red Hat in their repository, so I only uncomment that when I actually
want to update apt/ogle/xine/avifile/etc.

Because the other architectures could conceivably be on a different
version of any given package.  They usually aren't, but they could be.
