I think more than anything that we will probably need the sales men for
this. We have a VERY large pool of technical knowledge to draw upon, the
open source community as whole. Since I have nothing better to do, I
guess that I'll start shopping aroundthe open source/free software
communities and see what comes up as good software. As I see it the thing
would need to break down as following pieces to make it work:

1) OS
	a) Secure
	b) Reliable
	c) Ease of admin
	d) Pleathora of tools
2) WM
	a) Easy of access and traversion
	b) Stable
	c) Software that works for it
3) Word Processing
	a) A complete "office" package
4) Web Browsing
	a) Web filters and proxy
	b) A stable browser
5) Unique signon for all
	a) LDAP networked machines
	b) "Follow me" home directories
6) Security
	a) OS level security
	b) Network level security
	c) Hardware level security
7) Misc Software
	a) Typing teachers
	b) Programming tools
	c) Etc.

This is all that I can whip off of the top of my head, but I think that it
wouldbe fairly easy to put together a distro that would be used by the
schools that essenticall you would throw in the CD and it would ask some
questions and then you would be done. I think that the biggest barrier
that we would hit with that is the FUD that Linux/Unix is a HUGE cludgy
thing that only large bearded men in suspenders could ever understand.
But with large companies supporting it, and the help of us (the little
people) we might just be able to make this happen. Now, I am back into my
game. Have a good night everyone.
