Electric Mayhem! RIMBoy's Mosix cluster

(Massive cross post, check headers on your reply. YMMV, IANAL).

It gives me great pleasure to announce the arrival of the Electric Mayhem
cluster at Casa de RIMBoy.

I'll be putting more info online in the next few days, but I wanted to
give everyone a taste of what I've been cooking over the last 6+ months.

The reason I held off annoucement until now is because:

Having ripped ~50 cds into mp3, the pieces finally came together. In
particular writing the id3 tags and naming the filenames. That occured
yesterday. I turned that script loose on all of the mp3's in
waiting this afternoon. The script made short order of the work needing
to be done.

I then selected semi randomly the resulting mp3's to be burned to
cdr. From there I loaded the cd into Dr Teeth, my main workstation. The
first track selected by XMMS happened to be Mandy Barnett's Planet of Love
(from the aptly named Mandy Barnett CD). I think my current Planet of
Love can be found in my garage, but please don't tell my wife. Even more
fitting, Mandy starred as Patsy Cline in "Always, Patsy" here in
Nashville. Now if you follow the logic here, you'll know that one of the
famous Patsy Cline songs happens to be "Crazy", which I think I've been
described as by several people.

If you want to take it to that next level, Music trivia for $1000 Alex:

Who was the last artist recorded by the late Owen Bradley, the producer of
Patsy Cline?

Mandy Barnett.

And thus, the Electric Mayhem is born (more info on the name can be found
on the page, but I know a good number of you already know the reference).

Cheers,

Sean...
