Re: Installing Oracle 8.1.6 on Red Hat 7.1 howto

Thanks Jason,

I'll try Redhat 7.1 and Oracle again soon. My boss promised me another
machine in 2-3 weeks. I finally installed Redhat 6.2 on a older pc and then
installed Oracle 8.1.6 (I already had the Oracle CD). It is working great!

Thanks

Larry

Larry,

I was just browsing and came upon this page with a howto for installing
oracle 8.1.7 on redhat 7.1. Didn't read it, but I remembered someone asking
for something like this. Hope it helps.
