Hmm... This could be rather handy when I want to play Quake3. :)
BTW, PHP can also be used as a replacement for Perl to write shell scripts since there's a standalone executable somewhere. You just need to run it with -q (php -q <filename>) to suppress the content-type output. This is how the GTK+ bindings are possible.
